Can they hold 1/4" foam board and still have the corners meet up without a large gap?
Standard Frame Compatibility: Our standard snap frames, including the 24x36 Blue Snap Frame, are primarily designed for thinner materials, such as paper posters. They can comfortably accommodate materials up to 19.7 mils thick, which is approximately 1/50th of an inch or about 0.5 mm. Unfortunately, a 1/4" foam board, being significantly thicker, may not fit perfectly in these frames, potentially leading to issues with closure and alignment.
Jumbo Snap Frames for Thicker Materials: To cater to your specific need of displaying a 1/4" thick foam board, we recommend our Jumbo Snap Frames. These frames are specially designed to hold thicker materials, providing a robust and secure fit for items like foam boards.
